Scholarships
The South Carolina Women Lawyers Association (SCWLA), which was founded in 1993 by courageous women wanting to create a forum and a safe space for women lawyers in the state, is South Carolina’s oldest and most prominently recognized statewide women’s bar association. SCWLA, through the advocacy, action and association of our members takes positive steps to ensure that women lawyers achieve their fair share of opportunities and benefits available to those in the legal profession. To that end, SCWLA is pleased to announce that we are accepting applications for our 2025 SCWLA Scholarship. SCWLA will be awarding (2) $500.00 scholarships this fall to qualified women students. We encourage all women law students to complete the attached Scholarship Application. Applications are due October 15, and award recipients will be notified in December.
