Mark your calendars for the next SCWLA Midlands luncheon -- a holiday event that will include several special presentations for our members. Among them, a recognition of the Girl Scouts of the USA brought to us by Bebe Barton and several speakers from the organization's local chapter, who will discuss the organization's founding by Savannah native Juliette Gordon Low, its leadership programs for young girls, and a new community project currently being built on Gervais Street in Columbia. We will also have a presentation from the SCWLA Military Subcommittee honoring military attorneys and their associates, to highlight Veteran's Day and the contributions of our military members. Look also for a few surprises!
